Improving engagement in shared decision making for stroke prevention among older adults with atrial fibrillation and multiple chronic conditions

By admin, 5 February, 2025

Interested trainees will assist with participant recruitment, remotely and in-person in the primary care/geriatric/cardiology clinics.

Clinicians, patients, and caregivers will be recruited for qualitative in-depth interviews and focus group sessions. The data obtained will help us better understand the extent of engagement in shared decision making for stroke prevention, challenges, and areas for improvement, and inform future interventions.

Roles and Responsibilities: The time commitment will be 4-5 hours per week. Research activities include participant recruitment, data collection, literature review, qualitative data analysis, scientific writing, and joining weekly meetings.
