By admin , 23 December, 2025

The Center for Accelerating Practices to End Suicide (CAPES) at UMass Chan Medical School is seeking a Summer Medical Student Intern to support ongoing suicide prevention research and program activities. CAPES is an NIMH-funded center focused on accelerating the implementation of evidence-based suicide care across healthcare settings. The intern will assist with literature reviews, research and data support, project coordination, and dissemination activities (e.g., presentations, reports, and events), while gaining exposure to implementation science, digital health tools, and multidisciplinary collaboration. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for a medical student with a strong interest in mental health, suicide prevention, and clinical research.
