The Critical Care Cardiology Trials Network (CCCTN) was founded in 2017 with 16 centers and has grown to a research network of over 40 academic and clinical centers in the United States and Canada. More than 20,000 unique CICU admissions are now included in the CCCTN Registry. To have UMass be part of this network, I will need the help of trainees with IRB submission and to enter data for CCU admissions for at least 2 consecutive months of each calendar year. Trainees will also have the opportunity to present original research ideas using this database and assist with writing towards the goal of having a published paper that is backed by a widely recognized group.
