SATA Liver Database project

By admin, 10 October, 2024

Society of Advancement in Transplant in Anesthesia (SATA) Liver Database is designed to provide individual transplant centers with a simple standardized instrument for data collection and to facilitate multicenter collaboration in liver transplantation research. Currently there are three ongoing projects based on this database (summaries in attached documents) and LHMC transplant anesthesia division is the lead center on early extubation project. Presumptive trainee will be involved in an ongoing IRB-approved project to review records, complete established database and work closely with PI (Dr. Nazemian) and biostatistician to perform analysis. Based on initial data review, ad hoc analyses will be done to establish prospective studies and QI projects.

No stipend available, but can provide support for national presentations.
