Weighing the Risks

Weighing the Risks is a project that combines community education and scholarly research to improve the cardiometabolic health of people living with severe mental illness (SMI), which include schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder. We will be working with local community mental health entities to educate and empower individuals to take control of their cardiometabolic health while aiming to improve the prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in individuals with SMI.
