Description
Diagnostic accessibility are issues everywhere in the US from rural to urban communities when it comes to psychiatric care. At present, it is estimated that less than half of patients who require mental health services actually receive it. This bottleneck stems in part from inefficiencies in establishing care, specifically during the diagnostic interviewing process.
Goals
Investigate the scope of the problem, identify areas for improvement, and build a software/platform to increase efficiency in the diagnostic interview process to get patients into long-term psychiatric care sooner.
