Description
The primary goal of this project is to conduct a comprehensive assessment to identify gaps in cultural compassion among healthcare providers delivering end-of-life care. This initiative aims to ensure that patients and their families from diverse backgrounds receive personalized and culturally sensitive support during this critical time. By identifying and addressing these gaps, we aim to equip caregivers with the knowledge and skills needed to provide culturally compassionate care for diverse patient populations. Our approach will involve first understanding the specific areas where healthcare providers may be lacking and then developing targeted interventions to close these gaps. Ultimately, this project seeks to improve physician satisfaction and, more importantly, patient and family satisfaction with the care they receive. By fostering culturally compassionate end-of-life care, we hope to strengthen trust in the healthcare system and create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all patients.
