Description
FORCE-TJR is an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality funded national research study designed to measure joint pain and physical function in adults with advanced arthritis who have total hip replacement (THR) or total knee replacement (TKR) surgery using patient reported outcome (PRO) measures. We would like to better understand the clinical and surgical factors, specifically varying THR and TKR approaches and peri-operative care that may impact patients’ functional outcomes. Students will be involved in capture of PRO data and collection/review of postoperative adverse events.
