Description
Anxiety disorders disorders are prevalent in perinatal individuals and confer significant risks. Anxiety Sensitivity Interventions, a cognitive-behavioral-based approach, are a promising approach, although their application in the perinatal population has not been explored. We have adapted an Anxiety Sensitivity Intervention for digital health to create the Reaching Calm intervention (RC). We will pilot test and further refine RC via a pilot cluster Randomized Controlled Trial to assess feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary effectiveness laying the foundation for a later hybrid effectiveness-implementation trial, with the long-term goal of an intervention that can be sustainably integrated into obstetric settings.
