This pilot study investigates whether multimodal digital biomarkers can be used to identify and understand diabetes distress among adults with type 2 diabetes. Participants will complete 14 days of data collection using Garmin wearable devices, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), ecological momentary assessments, and repeated voice recordings. The study will integrate physiological, behavioral, glycemic, voice, and patient-reported data and use statistical and machine-learning approaches to examine whether voice biomarkers provide additional information for identifying elevated diabetes distress.
